Pearpoint P374 pushrod C1D1-CCTV video camera system was utilized because of it's intrinsically safe rating.

A specially designed spool piece with compression fitting and packing were bolted to a valves flange face for the C1D1-CCTV video camera rod sealing it to ensure gasses would not escape or allow oxygen infiltration.

C1D1 CCTV video camera footage within the hazardous environment of the piping system, beyond the compression fitting valve flange face.

This project was done under supplied air respirator due to the possible presence of external fumes and pressurized nitrogen which was introduced to the main access valve once being opened.

The Mini Flexiprobe system sets new standards by offering an intrinsically safe solution that allows successful inspection and reporting within Zone O environments.

Overview

Pearpoint’s P374 IS is an intrinsically safe pushrod system certified to EEX ia IIC T6 for Zone 0 Hazardous environments such as vessels or pipework within the chemical and petrochemical industries, landfill venting systems, natural gas supply infrastructure, etc. The surface equipment is IP55 rated allowing this system to be used in most types of weather conditions. The P374 IS system is compact and fully integrated making it very easy to transport around.
